AMA Insurance Company, Inc. - Group Insurance Programs
Each insurance plan is underwritten by a nationally known, respected, and financially sound insurance company. Plans are administered by the AMA Insurance Agency, Inc. The Agency has administered life and health insurance programs for physicians nationwide since 1988.

Group Term Life - for AAPS members and their family members* under age 65. Benefits include a waiver of premium during a period of covered total disability beginning before age 60 and an accelerated death benefit.
*covers children age 15 days old to 19 years old, 23 years old if full-time student

Long Term Disability Income - for AAPS members under age 60.
A plan for income in the event of a covered disabling injury or illness. Provides coverage for selected benefit periods that pay as long as qualified injury prevents performing "your regular occupation".

Excess Major Medical - for AAPS members and their family members* under age 70. Help cover expenses that basic health may not: home health care, convalescent care, hospice, specialized surgical procedures, expensive prescriptions and more. Acceptance is guaranteed for eligible individuals.
